At Malis-Henderson, we are committed to creating the highest quality bridal accessories for you in our Montreal Atelier. Since 1934, our Atelier has designed elegant and timeless pieces using only the finest elements from Crystals, Fresh Water and Crystal Pearls, Hand-cut Flowers & Petals, English Tulle and French Lace, to other elements sourced throughout the world. For almost 90 years, each and every season, a new Collection is highlighted with contemporary designed veils, exquisite headdresses and coordinating jewellery that help set the standard worldwide in the Bridal Fashion Industry. Our headdresses and veils are mainly produced in Montreal, which allow for quick turn around times. We are best known for our ability to quickly make custom changes to many styles for the discerning bride. We have the honor and privilege of helping Brides bring out their beauty and individuality.

Our Atelier

From component selection for all handmade assembly tasks, through to the careful folding and packaging of the final product, each and every person along the way takes great care and pride in assuring that the bride will be delivered exactly what she wants to make her day the special one she deserves.

Our Expertise

Malis-Henderson is one of the very few North American companies that actually manufacture products on-site at our own facility using skilled seamstresses and jewellery makers with many years of experience. Some have been with our company over 35 years. Although Malis-Henderson also imports certain components as well as a few finished styles, having our own experts here allows us to make changes to many import products in addition to creating our own, and customize them to what our retailers and their brides want. Furthermore, having them in-house allows us to maintain our value-add with strict levels of quality control; something that is out of the hands of a company that strictly imports and re-sells.

 Cutting

The first step in shaping the material requires a steady hand to create the base upon which everything else will be added to create a beautiful veil

Sewing

There is no substitute for the hand sewing of combs, lace appliqués, and other refinements that create a beautiful veil. Edging and other

operations although machine sewn, are guided by a human hand.

Finishing

Whether it be the application of crystals, organza or satin flowers, Chantilly lace, or embroidered appliqués, these finishing touches are

what gives each veil its unique character.

Folding

There is an art to ensuring that all our hard work arrives at the bridal

store in proper condition to be carefully unfolded, given a light steam,

and present its magnificence to each bride.

When our customer's products are ready for shipment, they are given a final examination to make sure that nothing has been missed for each and every item. They then head off to our shipping room where they are carefully packed and re-checked for correct address and shipping method. Probably the most important element is timing. There are always rush orders, and getting each and every item to the bride on time is always a priority.

Welcome To The World Of Creating Timeless Bridal Accessories!
